High Performance Silica
 Zeosil® high performance silica is the essential ingredient for low-rolling resistance tires. Used as reinforcing charge in the rolling band, it partially replaces carbon black.
Thanks to this technology, the rolling resistance is reduced significantly and adhesion on wet surfaces is improved.
The inventor of high performance silica, Rhodia is today, with the Zeosil® range, the market’s technological leader. With over one billion tires benefiting from this technology, Rhodia has already contributed to fuel savings of around 20 billion liters.
