  A complete list of partnerships is under preparation and will be available in 2003. The percentage of Rhodia sales generated through partnerships will be published in 2003.

KEY PARTNERSHIP CRITERIA
  The minimum requirements that Rhodia applies to form partnerships with customers are :
  • Existence of a contractual research, cooperation or licensing agreement between Rhodia and its customer.
  • A minimum term of three years for the agreement.
  • Delivery by Rhodia of an innovative and tailor-made solution for the customer.
  • Pricing according to the value of the service the product provides.

    FOCUS > Laboratoires Roche Nicholas, a long-standing Rhodia partner, was looking for ways to optimize its effervescent delivery systems, especially for multivitamins. The twofold challenge was to develop an easy-to-handle compound while guaranteeingthe delivery of essential inorganic salts.

    RESULT > Thanks to Rhodia’s ability to cross-fertilize expertise and technological capabilities, a new “two-in-one” formula currently used in food applications is expected to debut in the pharmaceuticals market.
