MACKAM BW 139
40% active aqueous solution of octyl betaine. It acts as an effective hydrotrope to couple nonionic surfactants into high electrolyte systems. It can tolerate up to 25% sodium hydroxide and is a modest foamer. Mackam BW-139 will not hydrolyze, even in strong mineral acids. Mackam BW-139 is useful for producing highly built cleaners with good detergency and high cloud points.
