Polyamide performance fibers have a multitude of uses, from providing comfort for furnishings, upholstery, automotive, carpet, textiles and sportswear, to extreme durability for protective gear, jet pilot’s clothing, industrial abrasives and electrical insulation.

The unlimited end-uses are due to exceptional properties including flexibility, dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, durability, rigidity, dyeability, heat resistance, recyclability and excellent covering properties.

Rhodia markets a wide range of polyamide 6.6 tow, combining different counts (from 0.9 dtex to 22 dtex), lusters (dull to sparkling), and cross-sections, and shows now a position of worldwide leader in flock tow for automotive application.

Rhodia also offers polyamide fibers and filaments employed in infinity of textile applications, which offer quality, comfort, design and functionality, in the past attributed to natural fibers exclusively.
