Adipic acid is a white crystalline powder (monoclinic system) with a slight acid taste and a nil to very faint odor.

Basic raw material for production in the polyamide chain, polyurethane, plasticizers and chemical intermediates, Rhodia’s adipic acid is obtained from KA oil oxidation with the advantage of being a free flowing product.
