When compared to Mackam 35, our standard coconut oil derived grade of cocamidopropyl betaine, Mackam DH-13T exhibits better foaming and color stability. This grade is extremely low odor and features outstanding color stability.
High performance, viscosity enhanced, zwitterionic surfactant that is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. Mackam® DR-169 exhibits high foaming and better viscosity control than regular Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaines by incorporating 6% PEG-150 Distearate. Mackam® DR-169 product is designed to give foam and viscosity response similar to alkanolamides in products where alkanolamide free is a requirement. The quantity needed to replace an alkanolamide varies for each formulation. Start atthe original concentration (as is) of the amide when replacing it with Mackam® DR-169. More or less may be needed depending on yourformulation.

Mackam HPL-28 contains minimal amounts of by-products and is compatible with most other surfactants. In personal wash formulations such as shampoos, bubble baths, body cleansers and hand lotions, Mackam HPL-28 provides a dense lather and cleans without defatting the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect. Mackam HPL-28 is stable over a wide pH range which makes it ideal for industrial applications such as liquid dish wash and hard surface cleaners.
Unique grade of the mild amphoteric surfactant, Sodium Lauroamphoacetate, with a very low sodium chloride content. Low NaCl allows greater formulation flexibility and helps protect process equipment from chloride induced corrosion. It is chemically identical to the McIntyre optimized amphoteric, Mackam ® HPL-28, except it lacks salt and has a slightly lower actives level. In addition, it has low levels of mono and dichloroacetic acids.
Glycerin-free cocamidopropyl betaine for use in personal care or HI&I formulations. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants and is stable over pH 4. When compared to Mackam 35, Mackam J exhibits better flash foam and viscosity-building characteristics. This grade is made from a special “stripped” coconut source to enhance viscosity and foaming.
High purity grade of cocamidopropyl betaine with a “stripped” alkyl distribution. It is stable over a wide pH range and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. Mackam® J(F) offers an exceptionally low and stable color as well as low residual odor. When compared to Mackam® 35 and other standard grades of cocamidopropyl betaine, Mackam® J(F) exhibits better flash foam andviscosity building characteristics with lauryl sulfates, alpha olefin sulfonates and other anionic based formulations.
Technical preparation of Lauryl Betaine, a high-foaming amphoteric surfactant that is functional in both industrial and personal care formulations such as hair and body care products. Mackam LAB performs well even when formulated at extreme pH levels. Mackam LAB is biodegradable and exhibits modest conditioning action in shampoos. This grade is low odor, hydrolytically stable and is preservative-free.
