MACKAMIDE AME 100

Excellent humectant and skin conditioner for use in non-oily skin care lotions. When incorporated in shampoos Mackamide AME-100 imparts conditioning properties of improved wet combability, enhancement of natural hair shine, manageability and "fly away" control. In lotion formulas Mackamide AME-100 imparts similar moisturization effects to the skin compared to glycerin without its characteristic tacky feel. When used in leave-on skin care, Mackamide AME-100 increases the water holding capacity on the stratum corneum overtime for long lasting moisturizing effects.

MACKAMIDE AME 75

Excellent moisturizing properties with stronger humectancy than glycerin. The same amount of acetamide MEA will absorb 65% more water than commonly used glycerin. For shampoos it provides good conditioning properties, allows ease of wet combing, leaves the hair with good sheen, manageability and improves "fly away" control. Acetamide MEA can reduce the eye irritation of anionic surfactant based cleansers. Formulation of even moderate amounts as a percentage of the anionic present can significantly reduce Draize eye irritation scores. Mackamide® AME-75 is also an excellent skin conditioner for use in non-oily skin lotions.

MACKAMIDE C 5

Produced using the 1:1 reaction from a pure grade of coconut oil and contains a small amount of residual glycerin. Mackamide C is high active and readily biodegradable. It is liquid at room temperature and below, simplifying handling during manufacturing. Mackamide C has a low free diethanolamine content that meets the requirements of the European directive relating to residual diethanolaminein alkanolamides used in personal care products.

MACKAMIDE CD

Rapidly biodegradable cocodiethanolamide. It is used in conjunction with anionics (soaps, sulfonates, and sulfates) or nonionics. Mackamide® CD is water-soluble, aides rust inhibition of aqueous systems and provides wetting action. Mackamide® CD when cut back with various fatty acids or organic acids (such as sulfonic) responds to building with electrolytes. As such, very high viscosities will result at low concentrations along with varying degrees of rust inhibition.

MACKAMIDE CDT

Modified cocoyl diethanolamide, which exhibits excellent compatibility with inorganic builders and alkalies in aqueous systems. It was developed for industrial and specialty cleaning formulations. Mackamide® CDT is also widely used as a detergent, wetting agent and emulsifier and viscosity builder in aqueous and non-aqueous systems.

MACKAMIDE CMA

1:1 coconut monoethanolamide, which is designed for use in household and cosmetic preparations. Mackamide CMA is an excellent viscosity index improver and foam stabilizer. Mackamide CMA has very low residual free amine and is a suitable replacement for diethanolamides.

MACKAMIDE CPA

1:1 coconut monoisopropanolamide that is 100% DEA and MEA free. Ultra pure and optimized Mackamide CPA provides enhanced viscosity response and foam stability. Mackamide CPA has very low residual reactants and by products making it ideal for natural formulations.

MACKAMIDE CS 5

Low free amine grade of cocamide DEA designed to enhance viscosity performance. Mackamide CS is particularly valuable for use in products where cost and/or performance is a critical factor. In most formulations, Mackamide CS can replace a more expensive cocamide DEA without sacrificing viscosity building or foam performance properties. Mackamide CS has a low free diethanolamine content that meets the requirements of the European directive relating to residual diethanolamine in alkanolamides used in personal care products.
