Rhodia offers a wide range of surfactants, polymers and hydrocolloids, developed utilizing expertise in active delivery, rheology, and surface modification. These are designed to meet customers’ required standards for use in innovative technological solutions for liquid and dry plant protection formulations, seed treatment and adjuvants.
Rhodia also manufactures precipitated silica, which is synthetic and amorphous in nature and is consequently totally harmless. It is mostly used in animal nutrition.
Cost-efficiency and performance
Rhodia constantly strives to improve the quality and efficiency of its agricultural protection products with the aim of enhancing the availability and quality of food. The company develops new bio-activators for useas herbicides (growth due notably to GMOs) and in multiple pesticides.
Launched recently, AgRho® FKC-1500, for use in herbicide formulations based on glyphosate-isopropylamine or other salts and Geronol® CF-Power, compatible with high-concentrated formulations of glyphosate-potassium, replace current bio-activators as cost-effective solutions for formulators. In addition, they ensure excellent stability of performances with various weed species and in extreme conditions including hot and dry weather.
Ease of use and handling
AgRho® FKC-1500 and Geronol® CF-Power provide formulators with enhanced operational freedom by offering excellent compatibility with other components of the formulation and with fertilisers and other plant protection products in tank mix.
Environmentally-friendly and safe
The agrochemical market is particularly conscious of the need to minimize water layer pollution and provide environmental protection. Rhodia is working to reduce the amount of agrochemicals dispersed into the environment, not only to meet and exceed regulations but also to protect human life and health.
We are replacing existing, toxic solvents with Rhodiasolv® Green 21 and Rhodiasolv® Green 25, two new environmentally friendly blends. AgRho® FKC-1500 also boasts an exemplary eco-toxicologic profile that makes it the perfect substitute for other substances known to harm aquatic life. Several of our bioactivators for glyphosate formulations are considered "Frog Friendly" by the Australian APVMA.
Meeting nutrition regulations
Rhodia has developed a range of precipitated silica built around standard powders and highly dispersible Micropearl technology dedicated to feed industries.
Certified as a food and feed additive, Rhodia’s Tixosil® range of products are manufactured and distributed on a global basis, in total compliance with international nutrition regulations. Our highly absorbent Tixosil® grades will transform your liquid actives into a free flowing powder.
