Zeosil®
Specially designed to rubber goods (tire in particular), Rhodia Zeosil® range has a reinforcement function. This range offers a wide choice of highly dispersible silica types, including the famous dust-free Micropearl form.
To comply with international regulations, tire manufacturers have to lower rolling resistance, the main means of reducing energy consumed by tires and, therefore, vehicle fuel consumption & CO2 emissions.
As a key supplier to automotive industry, Rhodia proposes Zeosil® to respond to this global challenge. Rhodia’s high performance silica range is the best way to lower tire rolling resistance while improving tire performances.
The Zeosil® range was instrumental in the development of energy-efficient tires. This technology enables to reduce of 25% rolling resistance, which equates to fuel consumption and CO2 emissions savings of up to 5% without impacting on tire performance.
Zeosil® Premium is the first generation of high surface silicas which combines easy dispersibility, excellent reinforcement and low hysteretic properties.
