In addition, Rhodia offers custom-made, organophosphorus-based ligands to catalyst users and specially-created intermediates to manufacturers of fine chemicals.

Water soluble and easy-to-handle

Rhodaphos® PTA is a novel phosphine ligand in line with Rhodia's sustainable development strategy. It brings water solubility to a range of metal complexes used as catalysts.

With a Cone angle of 103°C and enhanced resistance to oxidation, RhodaPhos® PTA offers a potential high-quality alternative to short chain tri-alkyl phosphines; Rhodaphos® PTA is easily handled and transported, with none of the pyrophoric issues associated with products with similar properties.
