Technyl® Heat Performance (HP) is a range of polyamide 6.6 that meets the growing challenge of high-temperature ageing behavior for under-the-hood applications within the automotive industry. This innovation broadens the field of polyamide usage to higher heat environments to displace metal or PPA in the same applications.

Besides offering excellent mechanical properties, TECHNYL® HP shows outstanding burst pressure resistance, specifically under high temperature and after ageing at high temperature.
It resists high temperature ageing, showing no sign of cracking over longer periods than the standard PA 6.6 and high performance PA 6.6 currently available on the market.
TECHNYL® HP is available with 30 percent, 35 percent and 50 percent glass fiber reinforcement.

Excellent burst pressure resistance, specifically under high temperature (tests at 180°C and 200°C), before and after ageing
No cracking on the product surface after ageing 1000h at 200°C vs standard PA 6.6 & high performance PA 6.6
