R&D centers
Rhodia research and development employs more than 850 staff in five international research and technology centers in Paris and Lyon, Shanghai, Bristol, and Paulínia.
These five major centers are supported by a network of 35 technical facilities based close to our customers, local markets and plants.
This community serves to create a flexible and open world-wide network of experts focused on product genesis. Rhodia R&D is recognized for its technical and behavioral leadership and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as its diversity – the mix now includes associated skills such as marketing.
The research network’s mission is to build on our existing expertise in advanced materials, inorganic chemistry, complex fluids and surface management, high- throughput test design and process technology. We also embrace the development of innovative new applications for Rhodia’s existing product portfolio, tailored to customers' needs, as well as undertaking exploratory research to identify and develop products and processes that will meet the challenges the future will bring.
