Monomers

Hexamethylene Di Isocyanate (HDI) and IsoPhorone Di Isocyanate (IPDI) monomers : Rhodia's HDI and IPDI monomers are used as raw material in the synthesis of polyurethane resins (PUR) with excellent weather resistance, light stability and non-yellowing properties.
Uses include :
- resins for coatings (automotive OEM and repair, transportation and aerospace, wood)
- aqueous dispersible polyurethane polymers (PUD's) used for textile, leather, adhesives and plastic products
- resins for radiation cured systems

- HDI monomers stands for Hexamethylene Di-Isocyanate. It is an aliphatic diisocyanate monomer. HDI monomers is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polyurethane resins (PUR). It provides an excellent level of weather resistance, light stability and non-yellowing properties.

- IPDI monomers stands for IsoPhorone Di Isocyanate, which is another aliphatic diisocyanate monomers. IPDI monomers is used as a raw material in the synthesis of polyurethane resins (PUR). It has an excellent level of weather resistance, light stability and non-yellowing properties.
