The new, leaner organization is based on nine Enterprises that fall into one of two strategic groups :

- Specialty Materials & Services
This group hold strong positions in three technologies, chemical products : polyamide, acetate cable and sulfuric acid regeneration.

- Applications Chemistry : Applications Chemistry present solid growth opportunities based on such key success factors as our ability to innovate in the markets we serve, to “cross-fertilize” technologies and to maintain high-quality customer relationships and understand their challenges.

The following group will be ultimately included into one of the two strategic groups

- Fine Chemicals : This group hold strong technological positions, especially in these chemical products : chiral chemistry, pharmaceutical synthesis, fluorinated or phosphorous intermediates and diphenols.
